I’m too fixated on curating the best cozy gaming blog I can that I tend to put off actually posting anything. And that sort of defeats the purpose, doesn’t it? Sadly it’s something that a lot of bloggers and content creators struggle with.

My oldest has talked me into playing Roblox with her and honestly, it is fun playing with her and my husband because he has such a wild RP imagination that it’s just ridic the shit he comes up with.
Brookhaven isn’t the most exciting game, esp for adults. I don’t get the hype so I asked ChatGPT what’s the deal with everyone on Brookhaven and their adopt me pls complex. And it explained it perfectly to me:
🔥 4. Sometimes It’s Not Even About Family it’s Drama Fuel
You’ve got:
- Adopted kid turns out to be a vampire
- Sibling rivalry over who gets more attention from the Brookhaven parents
- A baby that literally steals the car and drives away (seen it with my own eyes)
Yeah, that… sums it up pretty well.
I then went on to tell it about how my child asks me to adopt her, in the game only to either burn the house down, bring in a stray sibling (???) or jump out of the moving car after she asks me to take her to school.
It’s absolutely ridiculous but I guess it’s the new age way of spending time with your mom?? I have no idea. I do wish there was more to do or at least NPC’s instead of just empty lots with people crashing into storefronts, starting gang fights in the plaza and other fuckery.
With that being said…
I’ve been inspired to write a whole blog series about the fuckery of Brookhaven with my kiddo. And trust me, there’s a lot to go over.
I miss the days she’d calmly play Toca Boca and decorate her houses. Sigh.
